Thomas A (Tommy) McDermott

Peacefully after a brief illness, in the wonderful care of the staff at Sligo University Hospital's Stroke Unit. In his 90th year with his beloved wife Doreen by his side and surrounded by his family. Dearly cherished husband of Doreen for over 59 years, much loved father of Ann, John, Kevin, deceased infant daughter Maeve, Thos, Niall and Donie, proud Grandad to his 17 grandchildren. Sadly missed by his loving family, daughters-in-law, brother Kieran, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours, friends and the wider community who knew and loved him.

Reposing at his residence on Wednesday from 4pm until 8pm, and on Thursday from 5pm until 8pm. House private thereafter please. Funeral Mass will take place in the Church of The Sacred Heart, Riverstown at 12 noon on Friday with burial afterwards in Townagh Cemetery.
