THOMAS ABERNETHY

ABERNETHY, THOMAS (Rocky Road, Castleredmond, Midleton and late of Castlemartyr and Winchester, Mass. On March 19th 2020 peacefully surrounded by his loving family in the tender care of all at Marymount Hospice, Cork. Beloved husband of Regina (née O’Brien), loving father of Thomas, Ríona and Michael, son of Michael and the late Mary B., father in law of Jayne, son in law of Paddy and the late Dinah. Sadly missed also by his sisters Michelle, Deirdre and Diane, brothers in law Seán, Pádraig, Jimmy also Martin, Pat and Ger, sisters in law Máiréad, Geraldine and Annette, also Rosealeen and Deirdre, uncle, aunts, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours, colleagues at Clifford’s Cash & Carry and a wide circle of friends.

Due to government advice regarding public gatherings a private family only funeral will take place following which Thomas will be laid to rest in All Saint’s Cemetery, Mogeely. A memorial service for Thomas will be held at a later date.
