Thomas Anthony (Tony) DEBRUN

The death has occurred of Thomas Anthony DeBrun,

Beaumont, Dublin 9.

 

It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of Tony DeBrun

(known is his younger days as “Tony Browne” later switching to the

Gaelic version due to his love of the Irish language).

Late of Beaumont, Dublin, born and raised in Buncrana,

Co. Donegal moving to Churchtown, Dublin in his teens.

 

Tony worked for many years with the Department of Enterprise,

Trade and Employment and was a keen rugby fan and member of the

Palmerston rugby club team (formerly based in Ranelagh).

He loved singing with the Forget-me-not choir.

 

Tony will be very sadly missed by his heartbroken wife Eyleen,

his daughters Leisa and Caroline, his grandchildren Aoife

and Conor and his sons in law, Yuri and Brian.

In accordance with Tony’s wishes, a private cremation

was held with his close family in Mount Jerome

on Saturday 14th June 2025.

 

 

Memorial Service

 

A celebration of Tony’s life will take place at a later date to be confirmed.
