The death has occurred of
Thomas A.R. Buttimer
BUTTIMER (Ford Farm, Crohane, Ballinascarthy and Shanagraigue, Carrigaline): on January 13th 2025, peacefully at Clonakilty Community Hospital. THOMAS A.R. beloved husband of Hazel (nee Forde), dear father of Derek, Vivian, Clifford and Edwin, son of the late Thomas and Eva (nee Wolfe), brother of Richard and the late Francis and Anne, dear neighbour of the recently deceased Andy Kelleher. Sadly missed by his loving wife, sons, daughters-in-law Jocelyn and Amanda, grandchildren Evan, Damian, Lisa, Melvin, Kelsie and Clyde, great-grandchildren Andrew, Peter, Daniel and Ruán, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, Andrew, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Reposing in O’Sullivan’s Funeral Home, Clonakilty on Wednesday, January 15th 2025, from 6pm to 7.30pm followed by removal to Kilgarriffe Church, Clonakilty. Funeral Service on Thursday, January 16th 2025, at 2pm. Funeral afterwards to St. Mary’s Cemetery, Clonakilty.

The family would like to thank Dr. Yvonne Hayes at the Waterfront Medical Centre, Clonakilty, the High Dependency Unit at Cork University Hospital and the Bons Secours Hospital, Cork for the wonderful care shown to Thomas and special thanks for the loving care shown by the staff at Clonakilty Community Hospital over the last 2 years of his life.
