Thomas (Tom) Butler. (Navan Road, Dublin and late of Jamestown, Co Leitrim) (Retired, An Garda Síochána) 29th April 2024. Predeceased by his brother James, sister Elizabeth (Sisters of Charity NY) and nephews Martin and Pádraig. Peacefully, in the exceptional care of the staff at Marymount Care Centre and in the presence of his family. Dearly beloved husband of Máire. Tom will be sadly and deeply missed by his loving wife, daughter Órla and son Michael, grandchildren Hugh, Clara, Eve, Aimee and Matthew, great-grandchildren Teidí and Jethro, his sister Catherine and brother Pat, sisters-in-law Gertie, Sheila, Nuala, Patricia, Carmel, daughter-in-law Christine, nieces, nephews, grandson- in-law Stephen, extended family, relatives, friends and former colleagues at An Garda Síochána.

Reposing at Marymount Care Centre, Westmanstown, Lucan K78 FD29, on Thursday evening (May 2nd) from 6pm to 8pm. Removal on Friday morning to the Church of St Paul of the Cross, Mount Argus, Harold’s Cross D6W XR66, for Funeral Mass at 12 midday, followed by burial at Mount Venus Cemetery D16 RH50.
