Thomas Donoghue

Thomas Donoghue passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, on Tuesday, 3rd December 2024, at the University Hospital Galway.

Predeceased by his beloved wife Eileen, baby daughter Mary, parents Tom and Ellen Donoghue, and his nephew Christy.

Thomas was a devoted father to Joanna and a cherished grandfather to William. He will be sadly missed and deeply regretted by his sisters Ellen and Annie, his nieces, nephews, neighbours, and his wide circle of friends.

May his gentle soul Rest in Peace.

Thomas will repose at the Holy Family Funeral Home, Mervue, on Thursday, 5th December, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Please note that the new entrance to the funeral home is through the Church. (H91 FH52).

Arriving to St. Brigid's Church, Ballybane on Friday, 6th December, at 10:00 a.m. where Requiem Mass for Thomas will be celebrated. Following the Mass, Thomas will be reunited with his wife Eileen in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Loughrea.
