It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Thomas Francis (Tom) Lacy in his 90th year, after a brief illness surrounded by his loving family at his home. Much loved husband (of 58 years) of Peg (née Behan). He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by his loving children: Tony, the late Brian, Barry, Susan, Emma and Claire. Beloved father-in-law to Kathy, Ciara, Kevin, Ger and Danny. He will be missed by his adored grandchildren: Anna, Tom, Eva and Robert (Lacy), Alison and Jennifer (Doyle), Elizabeth, Nicholas, Amelie and Rebecca (Noonan) and Clodagh and Lucy (Flynn), his sister Phyllis, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, wider family and a large circle of friends. Tom is predeceased by his twin sister Mary-Louise, sister Alice and brother Frank.

 

May Tom Rest in Peace

 

Tom will repose at Larkin’s Funeral Home, Edenderry (R45 VK24) this Tuesday from 5pm to 8pm with Rosary at 8pm. His Funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday at 1pm in St. Peter’s Church, Rhode. You can also take part in Tom’s Funeral Mass via the webstream link below. A family cremation will take place at a later date.
