Thomas Gerrard (Gerry) SHANNON

The death has occurred of Thomas Gerrard (Gerry) Shannon, 26 Ashfield, Greatmeadow, Boyle, Co. Roscommon.

December 3rd 2025, unexpectedly and peacefully, surrounded by his devoted wife and family and in the tender care of the nurses and staff at Sligo University Hospital.

Pre-deceased by his father-in-law Michael, recently deceased and by his parents Bernard and Elizabeth and brother Michael.

Gerry will be sadly missed by his devoted wife Yvonne, his children Gerard and his partner Roxanne, Yvette and her partner John, Ultan and his wife Khoi and Sarah, grandchild Thomas, brothers and sisters Marie, Elizabeth, Bernard and Carmel, mother-in-law Myra, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, neighbours and his many friends.

Reposing at Mahon’s Funeral Home, Boyle, on Friday evening December 5th from 4.00 p.m. until 7 p.m. Removal Saturday morning to St. Joseph’s Church, Boyle, to arrive for Mass of Christian Burial at 11.00. Interment afterwards in Assylinn Cemetery.
