Who passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family in the wonderful care of the staff of Galway University Hospital on Tuesday 31st May 2022.

Gus will be sadly missed by his loving wife Mae, children Thomas, Marian (Treacy), Caroline (Broderick), Patricia (Stratford), Nuala (Dolan) and Noel, brother Patsy & sister Dina (Kelly), sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended Egan family, relatives and his many friends.

Gus will lie in repose in Kilboy’s Funeral Home, Loughrea (H62 KF63), on Friday, 3rd June, from 5pm to 7pm.

Please note, people are kindly asked to wear a face mask and refrain from handshaking in Kilboy’s Funeral Home at the request of the Egan family.

Gus’s funeral cortege will arrive to the Church of the Holy Family, Clostoken (H62 NP26) for Requiem Mass on Saturday, 4th of June, at 12 noon, followed by burial in Clostoken Cemetery.
