It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden but peaceful passing of Thomas on the 27th January 2026, surrounded by his loving family in the exceptional care of ICU staff in Mercy Hospital Cork.

Thomas will be deeply missed by his adored and heartbroken daughters Caitlin and Leah, his mother Anne, his father Thomas, brothers Patrick and Christopher, sisters Michelle and Kimberley and his beloved animals.

Deeply missed by his godmother Gina, aunts, uncles, cousins and loving partner Lorraine.

Sadly missed by his large circle of friends, colleagues at Egis Lagan Services and former Battalion and Brigade comrades in Collins Barracks Cork.

Rest In Peace

 

Thomas will repose in Egans Funeral Home, Greencloyne, Youghal on Friday evening from 8pm-9.30pm. Funeral mass with military honours on Saturday at 11.30am in The Holy Family Church Youghal, followed by cremation in the Island Crematorium, Ringaskiddy at 2pm
