The death has occurred of
Thomas J. (Tom) Browne
Formerly of Lough Mask, The Neale, Co. Mayo and
retired from T O’Higgins, Shantalla, Galway
On 19 December Tom died peacefully, following a short illness at University Hospital, Galway with his dearly beloved wife Eileen and family by his side.
Pre-deceased by his son Denis and his siblings Bridie, Teresa and Michael.
Deeply mourned his wife, Eileen and daughters, Deirdre, Pauline and Fiona, by his son-in-law Séamus and his much loved grandsons Brian, David and Eoin, sisters Ellen, Agnes, Kathleen and Elizabeth, brothers Martin, Peter and Richard. Remembered fondly and sadly missed by the extended Mc Manus family (Cavan) and the Browne family, his neighbours and friends.
Reposing at the O’Flaherty Funeral Parlour, Munster Avenue Galway (H91V1K8) on Wednesday, 21 December from 5 p.m. Removal at 6.30 p.m. to St. Joseph’s Church, Presentation Road arriving at 7 p.m.
Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Tom on Thursday, 22 December at 10 a.m. Funeral after Mass to Rahoon cemetery, where he will be laid to rest with his son Denis.
