Formerly of Achill Island, Co. Mayo. Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family. A wonderful husband, grandfather, brother and friend, he will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife Bridget, his cherished son Mark & partner Patsy, daughter Fiona and son-in-law Mike, his beloved grandchildren Kaylynn, Shayna, Neasa, Jessica and Mac Dara, his brother and sisters and all extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Grenham's Funeral Home, Ballinasloe (H53 HK15) on Friday, the 28th of February, from 4.30pm to 6pm, followed by removal to Lavelle’s Funeral Home, Achill. Reposing at Lavelle's Funeral Home, Achill on Saturday from 3.30pm to 5.30pm. Removal afterwards to the Church of Mary Immaculate, Achill Sound. Funeral Mass on Sunday at 11.30am. Burial afterwards in Glencoe cemetery. House strictly private. Family flowers only, by request. Donations, if desired, to East Galway & Midlands Cancer Support.
