Thomas Lande

LANDE, THOMAS, (Bishopstown, Cork and formerly of Dromagh, Co.Cork), passed away peacefully, on February 18th, 2026, at the Cork University Hospital surrounded by his family.

A wonderful husband, father, grandfather and proud former teacher at Scoil Chríost Rí in Turners Cross, he will be sadly missed by his beloved wife Ann, his children Brian, Mark, Orla, Yvonne and Derek, grandchildren David, Laura, Mark, Emma, Barry, Tom, Conor, Ella, David and Catherine, daughters-in-law Elaine, Mary and Sarah, sons-in-law Paul and Kieran.

Predeceased by his brothers Harry and Brendan and his sister Breeda. He will be missed by his sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, extended family, nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and neighbours.

Reposing at the Wilton Funeral Home, Sarsfield Road (T12 KX08) of Jerh. O’Connor Ltd; On Friday (February 20th) from 5.00pm to 6.00pm.

Requiem Mass at 10.30am on Saturday (February 21st) in the Church of the Real Presence, Curraheen Road, Cork (T12 XR99), followed by burial in St. James’ Cemetery Chetwynd (T12 V583).

Family flowers only, please. Donations if desired to the Down Syndrome Centre, Cork and Dublin.
