The death has occurred of
Thomas M. Whelan
WHELAN (Cork and Barleycove): On December 15th 2020 (on the 23rd anniversary of his dearly loved son, Darragh), peacefully, in the presence of his loving family at St. Vincent’s University Hospital, Dublin, THOMAS M FIChemE (Tom), dearly loved and loving husband of Eleanor (née Lyons), devoted dad to Marie (Happonen) and the late Darragh, adored Poppie of Harry, Tommi and Freddy and loving brother of Pat Dorrian and the late Bernie O’Riordan and Kitty Whelan.
Sadly missed by his loving wife and family, sister, son-in-law Antti, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Tom’s Requiem Mass will be livestreamed on http://www.smawilton.ie/live/ at 10.00am on Saturday, 19th December.
A private family funeral will take place, in accordance with current guidelines. We thank you for your co-operation and understanding at this difficult time.
