Thomas Mathews

The death has occurred, in his 75th year, of Thomas Mathews, Anton, Lawlesstown, Dunleer (A92 D279), peacefully in the loving care of the staff at Anam Chara, Moorehall Lodge, Ardee, surrounded by his family. Predeceased by his son Paul and twin sister Ann. Thomas, beloved husband of Anne and loving father of Brendan, Darren, Lynda and Nichola. Sadly missed by his wife, sons, daughters and their partners, grandchildren, family and close friends, relatives and neighbours.

Rest in Peace

Reposing at his home on Sunday and Monday from 4pm until 8pm for family and close friends. Removal on Tuesday morning at 10.30am to Saint Brigid’s Church, Dunleer arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am which can be viewed live at https://www.dunleerparish.ie. Burial afterwards in Dromin Cemetery.

Please note that Government guidelines on social distancing and the wearing of face masks should be observed.

There will be an opportunity for the community to support the family and remember Thomas, by being present, socially distanced, on the route from his home to the church and to the cemetery. Those who would like to attend but cannot may leave a personal message in the Condolence section below.
