Thomas McGarry

The death has occurred of Thomas McGarry, Ballygeeher, Bornacoola, Carrick on Shannon, Co. Leitrim, on Monday, August 26th, peacefully in the care of the staff at Kilbarry Care Centre, Waterford, surrounded by his loving family. Loving husband to Angela and devoted father to Martina, Joan, Danny, Damian and Ronan. Father in law of Michael, Sheana, Amelija and Caroline. Grandad of Clodagh, Caroline, John, Ciarán, Daragh, Killian, Iman, Darian, Miriam, Rachel, Lauren, John and Edel. Deeply regretted by his brother Michael (Washington D.C.), sisters Rita Geoghegan (Carlow),and Sheila Kundid (Chicago); sister in law Irene McGarry (Washington D.C.), Chris Murray (Drumsna), nieces and nephews, extended family and friends. Predeceased by his son Ronan, parents William and Catherine, sisters Mary, Anne, Elizabeth, Bridget and Eileen.

Reposing at his daughter’s residence at Carrigrue, Butlerstown Waterford City (X91 E6AH) on Tuesday, August 27th, from 5.00 to 8 pm. Prayers at 7.00pm. House private after 8pm. Removal from Waterford to St. Michael’s Parish Church, Bornacoola, Co.
