At the Mayo University Hospital. Predeceased by his parents Paddy and Mary Melvin. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving sisters and brothers, Patricia McHale (Dublin), Anne Chester (Scurmore, Enniscrone), Helen Boland (Enniscrone), Marie-Claire Melvin-Gallagher (Ballina), Edmond (Dublin), Padraic (Dublin), James (Ballina) and John (Castlebar), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, aunt Teresa (Dublin), nephews, nieces, grand-nephews and nieces, cousins, relatives, neighbours  and friends.

Reposing at McGowan's Funeral Home, Ballina, on Sunday evening from 4.30pm with removal at 6.30pm to St. Muredach's Cathedral, Ballina. Mass of the Resurrection on Monday morning at 11am with burial afterwards in Leigue Cemetery. Family flowers, please. Donations, if desired, to Croí.
