Thomas Murphy, The Ferry, Kilbeg, Headford, Co. Galway, 1st December 2020, peacefully at UHG after a short illness. Predeceased by his sisters Mary, Phil McDonagh (Ballyconlaught) and Peggy McHugh (Skeaghbeg). Deeply regretted by his beloved wife Mamie, family Pat, Ann Marie Walsh (London), Martin (Newbridge), Tim, Tom, Carmel, Angela Chapman, and Declan, daughters-in-law Anne, Helen, Martina, Carmel and Kathy, sons-in-law Lorcan and Chris, grandchildren Eoin, Conor, Aoife, Ruairi, Cormac, John, Kayla, Ellie, Cathal, Jasmine, Hazel, Robyn and Emma, nieces, nephews, relatives, the Cahill family, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Tom will leave his home on Saturday morning to arrive at St. Mary's Church, Claran, for Requiem Mass at 1 o'clock. Funeral afterwards to Cargin cemetery. Family flowers only by request. Donations, if desired, to Galway Hospice. In accordance with government advice on public gatherings Tom's funeral will take place privately for a limited number of 25 people. For those who would have liked to attend the funeral but cannot do so due to the current restrictions, you are invited to leave a message of sympathy in the condolence section below. The family appreciate your sympathy and support at this difficult time.

Route to the Church: Leaving home, taking a left at Egan's, right at Annaghkeen crossroads, over to Hannon's Shop and to St. Mary's Church.
Route to Cargin: Right leaving St. Mary's Church, right at Carnacrow crossroads, left at T junction, right at Ballyhale crossroads, passing the home house, to Cargin Cemetery.
