Thomas (Sonney) passed away peacefully, in St. Joseph's Ward, Portiuncula Hospital, Ballinasloe, surrounded by his loving family, his beloved wife Ita and much loved children Michelle, Anita, Nuala and Ollie. Predeceased by his parents Tommy and Agnes, sisters May and Kathleen and brother Jacky. Sonney will be sadly missed by his treasured grandchildren Niall, Niamh, Luke, Tom, Jake, Aitanna and Oliver, his sons-in-law Enda and Tony, his daughter-in-law Monica, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Sonney will repose in Grenham's Funeral Home, Ballinasloe, on Tuesday, the 16th of November from 5pm. Removal at 7pm to St. Michael's Church, Ballinasloe (all those attending are asked to please respect social distancing guidelines). Funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday at 12 noon, followed by burial in Creagh Cemetery. Sonney's Funeral Mass can be viewed via live stream on
