Thomas Sweeney

(Riverchapel, Gorey and formerly of East Kilbride and Glasgow, Scotland). Tom died unexpectedly but peacefully at Wexford General Hospital on the 9th August, 2025 surrounded by his loving wife and son. Dearly loved husband of Josephine and loving father to Paul. Tom will be sorely missed by his wife, son, Paul's partner Louise, grandson Lorcan, Tom's brothers and sisters Pat, Margaret, Phil, Chic, Marie, Johnny, Eddie, Tom's godson Lorenzo, brothers-in-law, 'sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends. Tom will be joining his brother Jim and sister Eileen in Heaven.

Reposing at Murphy's Funeral Home, The Avenue, Gorey (Y25 K122) on Monday 18th August from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Removal from Murphy's Funeral Home on Tuesday 19th August at 11.30 a.m. to St. Moling's Church, Ballycanew for Funeral Mass at 12 noon followed by Burial in Riverchapel Cemetery. The family very much appreciate your support and kindness at this sad time and would be grateful if you would express your messages of sympathy on the Condolence link below this notice.
