Thomas (Thosh) Kellett

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Thomas (Thosh) Kellett, Oldcastle, Co. Meath, on July 19th, 2024. In Cavan General Hospital after a long illness, borne with grace and good humour. Thosh was a beloved father, husband, brother, grandfather, and a cherished member of the community.

Predeceased by his father, Jack, and mother, Joan, Thosh was the Managing Director of Respa Beds and dedicated his life to his business, providing employment to the local community. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, shooting, supporting Manchester United, and photography. He was proud to be the Master of the Ballymacad Hunt for 27 years.

Thosh is survived by his loving wife, Ann; his sisters, Juno, Dolly, and Mary; and his children, Nicole (Padraig), Bobby (Cara), Darren (Emma), Richie (Martha); and his grandchildren, Hannah, Emily, Jack, Grace, T.J, Oisín, Éimhín, Siún, and Kieran. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Reposing in St. Brigid's Church, Oldcastle on Monday, July 22nd, from 3pm to 7pm. Funeral Mass at 12pm on Tuesday, July 23rd, followed by burial in local cemetery.
