Thomas (Tom) Byrne

Thomas (Tom) Byrne, Kilmacoo, Avoca, Co. Wicklow and formerly of Kirakee, Greenane, Co. Wicklow. Tom passed away peacefully on the 28th January 2023, in the compassionate care of St. Vincent’s University Hospital, Dublin, predeceased by his infant children Esther and Laurence and his brother Larry.  He will be sadly missed by his loving wife Ciss (née Heffernan) his children Michael, Denise, Lisa, John and Thomas, son-in-law Pat and daughters-in-law Joanne and Dorothy.  Adored grandad of Lizzy, Darragh, Sarah, Shane, Pádraig, Jessica and Eoin.  Tom will be greatly missed by his niece Ann, nephews Declan, Denis and Brian, his brother-in-law Mick, his sisters-in-law Liz and Miriam, extended family, friends and neighbours.

Thomas will be reposing at Hudson’s Funeral Home, Arklow (Y14 PT80) on Tuesday from 6pm to 8pm and Wednesday from 2pm with removal at 5.20pm to S.S. Mary & Patrick’s Church, Avoca arriving for reception prayers at 6pm (via the Beech Road, walking from Avoca Village).  Funeral Mass Thursday at 11am, burial immediately afterwards to Castlemacadam Cemetery, Avoca (at walking pace) Funeral Mass can be viewed via St. Mary & St. Patrick Church, Avoca - churchmedia.ie.
