Thomas (Tom) Carty

CARTY, Thomas (Tom) – 23rd February 2026, (Artane, formerly of Drumcondra and Shantonagh, Co. Monaghan, and late of An Garda Síochána). Peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of 62 years to his darling late wife Carmel. Devoted father to Kathleen, Teresa (Terry), Cecilia and Lucia who are devastated by their loss. Very sadly missed by his sons-in-law Frank, Joe and John. Dedicated and loving Grandad to Caroline, Laura, Christine, Ciara, Thomas, Sarah, Andrew, Katie, Daniel, Ella and Amy. Wonderful Great-Grandfather to Conor, Jack, Adam, Tom, Harry, Lucy, Zach, Sophie, Oliver, and Lillie. Sadly missed by sisters-in-law Stephanie and Miriam, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours. Predeceased by his brother Michael and recently by his brother and lifelong friend John.

Reposing at Lanigans Funeral Home, Artane (D05 XE09) on Friday afternoon 27th February from 4pm to 6pm. Removal on Saturday morning to Our Lady of Mercy Church, Artane arriving for Funeral Mass at 10am followed by cremation in Dardistown Crematorium.
