Thomas (Tom) Flannery

The death has occurred of Thomas (Tom) Flannery, “Hilltop”, Southpark, Castlerea, Co. Roscommon and formerly of Clooneykearney, Ballintubber, Co. Roscommon - 19th February 2025, peacefully surrounded by his loving family at Portiuncula University Hospital, Ballinasloe in his 96th year. Predeceased by his loving wife Margaret, son Tommy, daughter Carol, grandson Martin and his siblings Sean, Pat, Noel and Doreothy (O’Dowd) and Mary (Conway). Tom will be sadly missed by his daughter Marie (Donlon, Southpark), sons-in-law Martin and Kevin, daughter-in-law Eve, his beloved grandchildren Luke, Doreise, Keith, Eamon, Wayne, Christopher, Elisha, Caoimhe, and Jamie, his adored 19 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Gaynor’s Funeral Home, Castlerea from 5pm - 7pm on Friday evening with removal at 7.15pm to St. Patrick’s Church, Castlerea. Mass of the Resurrection at 11am on Saturday with burial afterwards in St. Jospeh’s Cemetery.
