The death has occurred of
Thomas (Tom) Gorey
Thomas (Tom) Gorey, Barrettstown, Knocktopher, Co. Kilkenny.
Peacefully, after a short illness, in the exceptional care of the staff of The Orthopaedic Ward 1, at University Hospital, Waterford, surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, 2nd March 2024.
Pre-deceased by his parents James and Margaret, brothers James, Neddy, Denis and Joe and his recently deceased sister, Bridie Davis.
Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his sorrowing family, his brother Donie, sister-in-law Kitty, niece Margaret O’Donnell, nephews Jim Davis and Jim and Paddy Gorey, grand nieces, grand nephews, relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends.
May Thomas Rest in Peace
Reposing at Molloy’s Funeral Home, Callan (Eircode R95 Y443) on Tuesday, 5th March, from 4pm. Funeral Prayers will be recited at 6pm followed by removal to The Carmelite Church, Knocktopher arriving at 7pm approximately.
Requiem Mass on Wednesday morning at 11am with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
