The death has occurred of
Thomas (Tom) McCarthy
McCARTHY (Cork) On 12th January 2025, unexpectedly, but peacefully, in the presence of his loving family and in the tender care of the staff at the Mercy University Hospital, THOMAS (TOM), Ardcullen, Hollyhill and late of Convent Place, St. Mary’s Road. Dearly beloved husband of June (nee Cotter) and much loved father of Keith, Aishling, Kevin, Ciara and James, devoted granda of Megan, Oisín, Cian, Emily, Eoin, Ana, Olivia, Eva, Luka, Tommy and Sophie, dearest brother of Tony, Philomena and the late Jim and beloved son of the late Jim and Margaret.
Sadly missed by his heartbroken wife, family, sons-in-law Bojan and Declan, daughters-in-law Triona and Deirdre, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at Coughlan’s Funeral Home, Shandon Street on Wednesday (15th January) at 12 noon, family in attendance from 5.00pm with Rosary Prayers at 6.00pm. The family would like to acknowledge the care given to Tom by Prof. Seamus O’Reilly and his team.
