Thomas (Tom) O'Brien

The death has occurred of Thomas (Tom) O’Brien – Great Oaks and late of Gaulmoylestown, Mullingar, Co Westmeath – June 1, 2025 (peacefully) at home in the company of his loving and devoted family, following a long illness bravely borne.

Predeceased by his parents Margaret and Tom and his brother Denis.

A dearly loved husband, father, grandfather and brother. Tom will be very sadly missed and forever remembered by his beloved wife Moira, dear daughter Rebecca, his adored grandchildren Ellianna, Kayden and Nevaeh, sisters Beeney and Margaret, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Reposing at his home on Tuesday June 3rd from 4 pm to 6 pm and house private thereafter.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday June 4th at 12 noon in the Church of the Assumption Taghmon N91 XY66 followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
