Thomas (Tom) Patten

The death has occurred of Thomas (Tom) Patten, Carrowsallagh, Newport, Co Mayo and formerly of Dereens, Achill on the 29th January 2026, peacefully surrounded by his loving family in the excellent care of the staff of Mayo Hospice.

Predeceased by his parents Johnny and Bridgie.

Tom will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his wife, Mary, sons Thomas, Stephen and David, Sisters Kathleen, Carmel, Noreen, Margaret and Anne,his brothers Seán and Michael, all his wonderful sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and wide circle of friends.

Rest In Peace

Tom will repose at St Dominick’s Funeral Home, Newport (F28 H682) on Sunday evening (1st February) from 4:00pm until 6.00pm.
With removal to St Patrick’s Church, Newport. Funeral mass on Monday 2nd February at 12:00 with burial afterwards in Burrishoole Cemetery.
