Thomas (Tom) Shanahan

Thomas (Tom) Shanahan, Boulicullane, Farranfore and formerly of Lisheenbawn, Farranfore. Tom passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family on 14th March 2026.

Predeceased by his parents Ned and Mai and beloved sisters Joan and Catherine, Tom will be deeply missed by his devoted wife Anne and his cherished children Eamonn, Pádraig, Tomás and Maura., his loving sisters Nora Mai, Mary, Eileen and Patricia, his brothers Neily, Eamonn and Maurice, his daughters-in-law Maura and Siobhán, his adored grandchildren, Muiris, Eamonn, Sadhbh, Fiachra and Caoimhín, his brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family relatives, neighbours and friends.

Rest in Peace

Reposing at Eamonn O'Connor's Funeral Home, Firies on Tuesday 17th March from 4.30pm to 6.30pm. Remains arriving at St. Gertrude's Church, Firies at 10.50am on Wednesday for 11am Mass. Burial afterwards in Kilnanare Cemetery, Firies.

Family Flowers only. Donations if desired to Mercy Hospital Foundation or Palliative Care, University Hospital Kerry.

The family sincerely thank all those involved in Tom's care for their support and kindness.
