The death has occurred of Thomas (Tom) Shine, late of Kiltullagh, Athenry, Co. Galway and formerly of Blackhorse Avenue, Dublin 7.

Tom passed from this life on Monday, 25th March 2024, after a long illness, in the wonderful care of the staff of Galway University Hospital.

Beloved son of the late Elizabeth and Thomas and brother of the late Yvonne and Eithne. Tom will be deeply missed by his sister Denise, his nephew, nieces, grand-nieces, grand-nephew, his extended family, neighbours and friends.

Tom will repose in Dignity Funeral Care, funeral home, Barrack Street, (H62 DV 76), Loughrea on Wednesday, 27th March, from 5pm to 7pm, for any neighbours or friends who would like to pay their respects to Tom.

Private cremation to follow, in keeping with Tom’s wishes.
