Thomas (Tom) Tonge

Thomas (Tom) Tonge 12th July, 2025. (late of Rathmines and Terenure, Dublin and formerly of Ballinasloe, Co. Galway). Died peacefully at St. James’ Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his parents Inez and Thomas Maxfield (Max), his sister Inez and more recently his brother Brian. Beloved husband of Ann, loving father of Annajane and Max and devoted grandfather to Alana, Elizabeth and Emily. He will be greatly missed by his loving family and also by his daughter-in-law Emer, his sisters Leonie and Eleanor, brother Kieron, brother-in-law Charlie (Murtagh), sister-in-law Angela, nieces, nephews, extended family, good friends and neighbours.

Reposing at Fanagans Funeral Home, Lower Kimmage Road D6W N279 on Wednesday evening (July 16th) from 4pm until 7pm. Removal on Thursday morning to St. Patrick’s Church, Ringsend D04 W261 arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am followed by cremation in Mount Jerome Crematorium, Harold's Cross D6W HY98 for 12.45pm. Family flowers only please. Donations if desired to the society of St. Vincent de Paul.
