Thomas (Tommy) Cheevers

Thomas (Tommy) Cheevers, Caheroyan Park and formerly of Northgate Street, Athenry, Co. Galway. Died 24th March 2026.

Predeceased by his mother Brigid, father Thomas Snr, and his brother Sean.

Thomas, beloved husband of Ann, passed away peacefully with his family by his side at the Galway Clinic after a short illness.

Sadly missed by his wife and best friend Ann, his sister Eileen and brother Brendan, his sister in-law Patsy and her partner Aidan, his brothers in-law Joe, Sean, Gary and his wife Irene, his nieces and nephews, his goddaughter Niamh, cousins, neighbours, and many friends.

Reposing at Quinn’s Funeral Home, Caheroyan Road, Athenry (H65 KP70) on Friday March 27th from 5.30pm. Removal at 7pm to the Church of The Assumption, Athenry (H65 PV27). Requiem Mass on Saturday at 11am. Burial afterwards in the New Cemetery, Athenry.

Mass will be live streamed on https://www.churchmedia.tv/st-marys-parish-1 and can be listened to on the Parish radio 106.5fm. Family flowers only.
