Thomas (Tommy) Furlong

Clontarf, Dublin, formerly of Wexford Town and late Merchant Navy

Passed away peacefully on July 10, 2024 at Beaumont Hospital. Beloved husband of Breda and loving father of Maurice and Paddy. Last surviving child of Pat and May Furlong of Rose rock Terrace, Wexford Town.

He will be sadly missed by his family: daughters-in-law Bernie and Barbara; grandchildren Oisín, Dualtagh, Ciara and Niamh; sister-in-law Kathleen and brother-in-law Joe, not least his nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours.

Reposing at the Kirwan Funeral Home, Fairview Strand, on Friday (July 12) from 5pm until 7pm. Funeral on Saturday at St. Anthony’s Church in Clontarf; arriving for Requiem Mass at 10am. Burial will be afterwards in St. Fintan’s Cemetery, Sutton.
