Thomas (Tommy) Gilligan
Thomas (Tommy) Gilligan Knockroe, Attymon, Athenry, Co. Galway.
Tommy aged 91 passed away peacefully at Portiuncula Hospital following a life filled with joy and happiness, surrounded by his loving family.
Predeceased by his daughter Nicola, brothers Larry and Peter and sister Bridie.
Tommy is sadly missed by his loving family, devoted wife Eileen, sons Joseph and Richard, daughter Fiona (Rooney), daughter in-law Valeria, son in-law Fintan Og. Adored and much- loved by his grandchildren Abigail, Darragh, Eoin, Finn, Leah and Holly, sisters Mary and Margaret, brother’s in-law, sister’s in-law, nieces, nephews, godchildren, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at Home in Knockroe (H65D721) from 2pm to 8pm on Monday 6th January. Arriving to St. Iomar’s Church, Killimordaly (H65 E761) for Requiem Mass at 12 noon on Tuesday 7th. Burial afterwards in the adjoining Cemetery. Mass will be live streamed on https://funeralslive.ie/thomas-gilligan/.
