Thomas (Tommy) McGovern

Formerly Mourne Road and Cabra, Dublin.

Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family after a long illness carried with great strength.

Predeceased by his parents Joe and Clare, brothers and sisters Joseph, Ann, Dolores, Peggy and Desmond.

Tommy will be dearly missed by his heartbroken family, his loving wife of 61 years Mary, daughters Jackie, Karen and Kerrie, adored grandchildren Aiofa, Luc, Evann, Florie, Molly, Tom, Anna and Lucy, great-grandson Nathan, sons-in-law Paul, Javier and Stephen, brothers Eugene, Brian, Patrick and Paul (Dublin), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

May Tommy Rest In Peace

Reposing at St. Joseph’s Chapel of Rest, Old Johnstown (C15 C425) on Friday, 14th November, from 10am followed by a Celebration of Tommy’s life at 11:30am. A private cremation will take place in Mount Jerome Crematorium, Harold’s Cross, Dublin on Saturday.
