The death has occurred of
THOMAS (Tommy) MEADE
THOMAS MEADE (Tommy) Riversfield Estate, Midleton. On February 19th 2026 surrounded by his loving family in the wonderful care of the staff at the Mercy University Hospital, Cork.
Beloved husband of the late Noreen (née McCarthy), brother of the late May (Horgan) and Peggy (Murray).
Deeply missed by his loving sons Bryan, Noel and Eric, daughter Avril and brother Christy.
Sadly missed also by his daughters in law Fran, Katherine and Linda, son in law Edmond, grandchildren Conor, Adam, Jenny, Ciarán, Lucy and Cíara, brother-in-law Sonny, nephews, nieces, his wonderful carer Josie, extended family, wonderful neighbours and friends.
May Tommy Rest In Peace.
Family Flowers Only, donations in lieu to Friends of Midleton Hospital.
Tommy will repose at Hydes Funeral Home, Drury’s Avenue, Midleton, P25VW02, on Friday 20th from 5pm – 6.30pm.
Requiem Mass at the Church of the Most Holy Rosary, Midleton on Saturday 21st at 2pm, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
The Mass will also be available to view LIVE ONLY on www.midletonparish.ie
