Thomas (Tommy) Oates

Oates Thomas (Tommy), (Marino and formerly of Kilmore, Co. Roscommon and Tolka Egg Stores) – 11th March 2023 – (peacefully) in the loving care of his family and the staff at the Mater Hospital; beloved husband of the late Evelyn, loving father of Ann, David, Gareth, Carol, Colm and Alan and cherished grandad to Cheryl, Vanessa, Karl, Eric, Laura, Evie and AJ and great-grandad to Kayden, Fionn, Adam, Alana and Shebl.

Sadly missed by his loving family, daughters-in-law Autumn, Aisling, Jana and Niaomh, sister Phyllis and by brothers-in-law Pat and Gerry, sisters-in-law Una and Bernie, extended family and a wide circle of friends both at home and abroad.

Predeceased and remembering his sister Mary (recently), brothers Frank and Christie.

Tommy will be reposing for family and friends at his home on Wednesday, 15th March, from 5pm to 7pm.

The Oates family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to the dedicated and professional Medical Staff at the Mater Hospital. A special thanks to Prof. Costello, for his unwavering commitment in overseeing Tommy’s care in recent years.

Removal to the Church of the Visitation, Fairview on Thursday 16th for 12 noon Requiem Mass followed by Cremation at Dardistown Crematorium.
