The death has occurred of
Thomas (Tommy) Whelan
Thomas (Tommy) Whelan (retired RQMS, McKee Barracks), Kilmartin Avenue, Dublin 24 passed away peacefully in the wonderful care of the staff of Harold’s Cross Hospice on the 1st of July, 2024. He will be sadly missed by his wife Rose, much loved father of Jenny, Thomas, Bernard, Vincent and Kevin, his grandchildren, sons and daughters in-law, Thomas, Jennifer, Megan, Suzanne and Claire, brothers and sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, his military colleagues, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at his home 19 Kilmartin Avenue (D24 WAA8) on Wednesday 3rd July from 4pm until 7pm. Removal on Thursday morning to arrive at St. Mary’s Priory, Tallaght Village for 11am Funeral Mass, followed by cremation service at 1pm in Newlands CroCrossss Crematorium
