Thomas Weir

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Thomas Weir, of Achill Island, Co. Mayo on September 12, 2024.

 

Most recently residing in Westport and Castlebar, Co. Mayo, Thomas is formerly of Cleveland, Ohio, USA.

Son of the late Noel Weir (Pollagh) and the late Celia nee Fadian (Doogort) of Achill Island, Co. Mayo.

Thomas is survived by his brother Michael (Pauline) and sister Mary Kessler (Jim).

He is also survived by his son Andrew and nieces and nephews, Michael, Nicole, Kelly, and Aidan. Thomas will be sadly missed by his family and friends.

Thomas will repose in Kilcoyne’s Funeral Home, Thomas Street, Castlebar, F23 HT38, on Wednesday, September 18 from 6.00pm, concluding with a prayer service at 8.00pm. Family and friends are invited.

The funeral will arrive at the Church of the Holy Rosary, Castlebar, for Funeral Mass at 11.30am on Thursday, September 19, followed by private cremation.
