Tim O'Brien

The death has occurred of Tim O’Brien, Knockpatrick, Foynes, Co. Limerick, February 3rd 2026, in his 90th year, peacefully at University Hospital Limerick.

Beloved husband of Helen (nèe O’Malley). Loving father of Edel, John, Charlotte, David, Fergal, Fidelma and Kevin. Sadly missed by his sisters Eileen and Nora, predeceased by his brother David and sister Breda. Deeply regretted by daughters-in-law Marie, Jen, Cathy and Agnes, sons-in-law Dave, Peter and Fidelma’s partner Ben. Loved by his 20 grandchildren. Missed by wide circle of friends, neighbours, extended family and his many friends in the gardening community.

Reposing at Foynes Church this Thursday evening 5th February from 5.00pm to 7.00pm. Requiem mass will take place in St. Senan’s Church, Foynes at 12.00 noon Friday 6th February and can be viewed online followed by burial afterwards in Knockpatrick cemetery.
