BARRY, Timothy David (Coronea, Skibbereen) passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his devoted daughters, on the 13th of June, the year of our Lord 2022. David will forever be missed by his daughters, Catherine, Eithne and Jean, siblings Una, Jean, Desmond, Jim, Eithne and Rosaleen, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, his adorable grandnieces and grandnephews, co-workers Mary, Eamonn, Tom, Aaron, Ger and Raimondas, his hunting comrades, Anne MacNamara, and all his cherished friends, in particular Jo O’ Sullivan and Katherine Regan. David’s late siblings Ellen, Kieron, Kevin and infant brother Joseph Gerard, remain greatly missed and in all the family’s thoughts at this time.

Reposing at Romie O'Donovan's Funeral Home, North St., Skibbereen on Wednesday, 15th June, from 5pm to 8pm followed by prayers. Requiem Mass on Thursday, 16th June, in St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Skibbereen at 12 noon. Burial immediately afterwards in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Coronea, Skibbereen, via North St., Market St., Townshend St.,pausing at Brewery Yard and Barry Bros., Building Supply Stores, continuing on to Bridge St., And Upper Bridge St. No flowers please.
The Barry family would like to pay tribute to David’s wonderful doctors, Dr Dekkers, Dr Dennehy and Dr Carey and the many exceptional nurses who helped and supported him during his very brief illness. They would also like to thank the staff at Bantry General Hospital, the West Cork Palliative Care Team, the Public Health Care Team and the staff of Hamilton’s Pharmacy, whose kindness and care were exemplary.
