Timothy O'Donoghue

The death has occurred of Tim, (in his 89th year), following an illness bravely borne with courage and dignity, at his residence, surrounded by his loving family, husband of the late Joan and grandfather of the late Cornelia.

Deeply mourned by his loving sons Neily and Pakie, daughter Patricia (O'Neill), grandchildren Sharon, Mark, Aishling, Nicola, Sarah, Tim and David, great-grandchildren Carragh, Saoirse, Tristan, Ella, Aubrey and Lucy, brother-in-law John Healy, sister-in-law Ellen O'Regan, son-in-law Tommy O'Neill, daughters-in-law Elaine and Carmel, relatives, cousins and a large circle of friends.

Reposing in St. Mary's Church, Newmarket on Thursday from 6pm to 7.45pm followed by Prayers. Requiem Mass on Friday at 12 noon which may be viewed on http://www.hcbroadcast.com. Burial afterwards in Clonfert Cemetery.

The family would like to express their gratitude to the nurses, doctors and staff of The South Infirmary Hospital, Cork University Hospital and Marymount University Hospital and Hospice for the support and care shown to Tim while in their care. Finally, the family would like to thank sincerely Dr. Bertie Daly, the district nurses and daffodil nurses for their care shown to Tim. Their kindness will always be remembered.
