Timothy (Tadgh) McCarthy

On 5th March 2025 peacefully in the presence of his loving family and in the exceptional care of Dunmanway Community Hospital, Timothy (Tadgh), son of the late Denny and Kitty McCarthy, predeceased by his brother Tommy. Sadly missed by his brothers and sisters Sean, Julianne (Guiney), Eileen (Cotter), Denis, Michael, Pat Joe, Willie, Dan and Kit (O’Driscoll). Fondly remembered by his brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces and extended family.

May he rest in peace.

Tadgh will be lying in repose at Daly's Funeral Home, Chapel Street, Drimoleague on Thursday (6th) from 6.30pm to 8pm followed by prayers. Requiem Mass on Friday (7th) at 12 noon in All Saints Church, Drimoleague which will be livestreamed on https://corklivestream.com/funerals. Funeral afterwards to the adjoining cemetery.

The family would like to acknowledge the outstanding care provided by the staff of Dunmanway Community Hospital over the last two years and also to Pat Joe, his wife Maura and family who lovingly cared for Tadgh in their home for many years.
