The death has occurred of
TIMOTHY (TED) HICKEY
On August 1st 2022, peacefully at Marymount Hospice, surrounded by his loving family, following an illness bravely borne. TED, (formerly of An Garda Siochana), loving husband of Rita (née Sharpley) and adored father of David, Padraig and the late Adrian. Beloved son of the late Annie and Paddy. Brother of the late Pat and Tossie. Sadly missed by his loving family, daughter-in-law Karen, brothers John and Eugene, sister Peg, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, relatives, kind neighbours and many friends, especially those in the bowling community.

Reposing in Romie O'Donovan's Funeral Home, North St., Skibbereen on Tuesday the 2nd August, from 6pm to 8pm, followed by prayers. Requiem Mass on Wednesday 3rd August at 12 noon, in St.Patrick's Cathedral, Skibbereen, livestreamed on http://www.skibbereenandrath.ie/webcam/ Burial immediately afterwards in the Abbey Cemetery via the bypass, Skibbereen.
