The death has occurred of
Timothy (Thady) O'Brien
O’BRIEN, TIMOTHY (Thady) (Ilford, Essex / Graigue, Inchigeela, Co. Cork, and Castlemaine, Co. Kerry) , died peacefully, on October 16th, 2025, in the loving care of the staff at Pinewood Care Home, Chigwell, Essex.
TIM (Thady), beloved husband of the late Sheila (née McGovern) and dearly beloved husband of Elizabeth (née Stokes) of 60 years (who died on November 10th), father of Siobhain Donoghue and Eibhlís O’Brien and dearest brother of Dan, and the late Joan, Willie, John, and Morgan.
Greatly missed by his heartbroken wife and daughters, grandchildren Tara, Aaran and Rory, son-in-law Stephen, sisters-in-law, nephews and nieces, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at the Wilton Funeral Home, Sarsfield Road of Jerh.O'Connor Ltd. on Wednesday (November 26th) from 5.00pm to 6.00pm.
Requiem Mass at 2.30pm on Thursday (November 27th) in St. Colman's Church, Macroom which can be viewed
Funeral afterwards to St. Mary's Cemetery, Millstreet.
Family flowers only Please. Donations if desired to the Alzheimer Society.
The family would like to take the opportunity to thank the wonderful staff at Pinewood Care Home and Dr. Rowena Cameron Mowat for the care of Tim.
May his gentle, kind soul rest in peace.
