The death has occurred of
Timothy (Timmy) McCarthy
On 29th August 2023 in his 90th year peacefully at Bantry General Hospital surrounded by his loving family, Timothy (Timmy), beloved husband of the late Margaret (nee McCarthy), loving father of Ann Marie (O'Sullivan), Gerard, Martin and Assumpta (McCarthy), cherished Granda to Ciara, Brian, Deirdre, Gearóid, Daniel, Kathlyn, Mollie Kate, Caoimhe and Roisín, brother of the late Bridget and James. Sadly missed by his loving family, brother Denis (USA), sisters Sr. Gertrude (Liverpool), Sr. Teresa (Waterford), Vera (London) and Sr. Catherine (Waterford), sons-in-law John and Mike, daughters-in-law Helen and Margaret, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, kind neighbours and friends.
May he rest in peace.
Lying in repose at Daly’s Funeral Home, Chapel Street, Drimoleague on Thursday from 6pm to 8pm followed by prayers. Requiem Mass on Friday at 12 noon in All Saints Church, Drimoleague - livestreamed on http://www.corklivestream.com/funerals. Funeral afterwards to the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations if desired to St. Joseph's Palliative Care Unit Bantry General Hospital.
