The death has occurred of
T.J Thomas James Smyth
T.J. (Thomas James) Smyth, (Retired N.T.) Tarrea, Ballinderreen, Co. Galway and formerly Straide, Co. Mayo. Passed away peacefully on August 1st surrounded by his family.
Sadly missed by his heartbroken wife Nancy and lovingly remembered by his son Sean, daughters Maria, Breda and Cora, his beloved grandchildren Dónal, Bláthnaid and Dylan and sons in law Jim Higgins and Sean Horsman. Fondly remembered by his brothers the Reverend Fathers , Patrick, John and Malachy (Columban Fathers). Predeceased by his sister, Sister Teresa and brothers Joseph and Michael.

T.J. will repose at his home in Tarrea, Ballinderreen, Co. Galway on Tuesday August 2nd 2022 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Requiem Mass will be held in St. Colman's Church Ballinderreen at 12. noon on Wednesday 3rd August, followed by funeral to Drumacoo Cemetery.
