The death has occurred of
Tom Burns
Burns, Coronea, Skibbereen. On February 1st, 2026 peacefully at Bantry General Hospital, surrounded by family. TOM, deeply missed by his loving daughter Áine, son-in-law Paul, adored granddaughters Leah and Robyn, sister Helen and his cherished nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents John and Kathleen and by his brothers and sisters Paddy, Marcie, Jack, Ettie, kathleen and twin brother Bill.
Tom will be fondly remembered by his extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Romie O’Donovan’s Funeral Home, North Street, Skibbereen on Tuesday 3rd February from 6pm to 8pm followed by prayers. Requiem Mass on Wednesday 4th February at 12 noon in St.Patrick's Cathedral, Skibbereen livestreamed on http://Skibbereenandrath.ie Funeral afterwards to St.Patrick’s Cemetery, Coronea, Skibbereen via the town.
The family would like to thank all the staff at Bantry General Hospital for the excellent care Tom received.
