Tom Cloonan

Tom Cloonan, Mulpit, Athenry, Co Galway.

 

Tom passed away peacefully under the exceptional care of Galway Hospice on the 15th July 2025, surrounded by his loving family.

 

Predeceased by his parents John Willie & Julia Cloonan and by his father & mother in-law John & Mary Canavan.

 

Deeply mourned by his beloved wife Ann and his children Mary (Tom), Eugene (Christine), Diarmaid (Olivia), Cormac (Liv), his sister Mary and brothers Jim, Jarlath, Stevie and Gabriel.

Adored and sadly missed by his grandchildren Aine, Logan, Lauren, Meghan, Thomas, Daniel and Brion, brothers in-law, sisters in-law, his nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and neighbours.

 

Reposing at Quinn’s Funeral Home, Athenry on Thursday 17th July from 5pm to 8pm. Arriving to the Church of The Assumption, Athenry on Friday 18th for Funeral Mass at 4pm. Burial afterwards in the New Cemetery, Athenry. Mass will be live streamed on https://www.churchmedia.tv/st-marys-parish-1 and can be listened to Parish radio 106.5fm.
