Tom Collins

Tom Collins, Ballinahulla, Ballydesmond and formerly of Tureenduve, Ballydesmond passed away on January 31st 2026 after a short illness at University Hospital Kerry surrounded by his loving family.

Beloved husband of Betty (née Moriarty) and father of Mossie, John and Anne (Herlihy).

Sadly missed by his loving wife and family, brother Jerry (Brosna), grandchildren Grace, Paul, Rory, Lily and Jack, son-in-law Mike, daughter-in-law Caroline, John's partner Edel, nephews, nieces, sister-in-law Marie, cousins, kind neighbours and friends.

May He Rest in Peace.

Reposing in St. Patrick’s Church, Ballydesmond on Monday (February 2nd) from 6pm to 8pm.

Requiem Mass on Tuesday (February 3rd) at 12 noon, followed by burial in the adjoining Cemetery.

The Collins family would like to thank all the Doctors, Nurses and Staff of ICU and the Rathass and Carrig Wards at University Hospital Kerry for the care and compassion shown to Tom.
